M&A Analyst (all genders)

Responsibilities:

• Pre-selecting the opportunities to quote
• Supporting the underwriters in preparing the non-binding indications (NBIs)
• Supporting the office manager in NDA and HHL reviews
• Maintaining and presenting a bordereaux to capacity providers
• Building and maintaining relationships with brokers. As a front line for submissions this will form a key part of the role.
• Organisation and project management are key core skills

Ideally would suit a candidate wanting to move from broking into underwriting or the next stage in an underwriting career. Additional languages a plus but not essential.

Requirements:

• Ideally, a degree in legal clerk, business administration or in another relevant M&A environment, e.g. Corporate finance
• Your strengths include strong customer orientation, decision-making power and a high degree of persuasiveness, as well as high motivation and resilience
• You have already been able to demonstrate your strong team skills, your high sense of responsibility and your flexibility
• Safe handling of MS Office products for everyday tools

M&A Underwriter (all genders)

Responsibilities:

• Handling the entire underwriting process in accordance with the AMANIKI business plan and within delegated underwriting authority, with specific focus on UK and Continental Europe starting with confidentiality agreements, preparing non-binding indications, drafting policies, negotiating contract terms and preparing underwriting requests.
• Issue of policy documents
• Establishment and development of international broker and customer relationships
• Building relationships with law firms in different jurisdictions

Requirements:

• Ideally, a degree in law / commercial law / business administration or in another relevant M&A environment, e.g. Corporate finance
• Your strengths include strong customer orientation, decision-making power and a high degree of persuasiveness, as well as high motivation and resilience
• You have already been able to demonstrate your strong team skills, your high sense of responsibility and your flexibility
• Safe handling of MS Office products for everyday tools
